There isn't a direct online form or system specifically designated for filing an application under Section 264 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. However, here's how you can proceed to file your application online or prepare it for online submission.... Log in e-filing portal using your credentials (User ID, Password, and CAPTCHA code).
After logging in, go to the 'e-File' tab on the dashboard. Under the 'e-File' tab, select 'Rectification (u/s 264)'. Enter the relevant details required for filing the revision application under section 264. This includes: - PAN (Permanent Account Number). - Assessment Year for which the revision is sought. - Communication Reference Number (if any) of the original assessment order. - Reasons for seeking revision (errors or issues in the assessment order). Upload necessary documents supporting your claim for revision. These may include: - Copies of the original assessment order. - Copies of relevant tax computation sheets. - Any other documents that substantiate your claim. After filling in the required details and uploading documents, submit the revision application electronically.
