29 June 2010 I am running a coaching center and my Annual Income is less than 10 lakhs. Is it necessary to get registration in service tax.

29 June 2010 Registration is required if income exceeds Rs. 9 lakhs.

However service tax to be collected only after Rs. 10 lakhs.
