23 August 2013 I have a plot in my name and if I construct a bungalow over there does it attract Service Tax?

23 August 2013 No...if the same is a single residential unit, the said activity doesn't fall in the ambit of service tax.
Refer S.No.14(b) of notification no. 25/2012(Mega Exemption)- ST dated 20Jun-2012
