Appeal to cit(a) - itat - high cout - supreme court

This query is : Resolved

27 February 2012 Hi..
Please clear my doubt regarding appeals.

Section 246A gives the list of appealable orders before Commissioner(Appeals).
Section 253 gives the list of appealable orders before ITAT.

Many orders specified u/s 246A are not specified u/s 253 again.

So my doubt is whether CIT(A) is the last resort available for assesses aggrieved of orders specified u/s 246A? Can't they appeal for those orders with ITAT?

Please clarify..
