20 April 2013 wholly charitable and religous trust/society receive donation by direct deposit in bank by donors. The society has not donor's address being the socity has not direct link with donor, whether this type of donation will be treated as anonymous donation for tax purpose @ 30%

20 April 2013 not taxable if satisfies any of two conditions :
the trust is for wholly RELIGIOUS purpose, eg: temple etc.
OR
the trust is for both religious and charitable purpose and donation is not specifically for charitable purpose (that means it could be for religious purpose).

otherwise taxable.
