If a person has claimed deduction of mediclaim u/s sec 80D in P.Y., and in next year he met with an accident and received claimed more than the expenditure incurred, whether the excess amount is taxable or not ? , If yes then under which head ?

No Taxable. Mediclaim is the Reimbursement of Expense & Reimbursement of Exps. not taxable under Income Tax Act
