amendment in registration certififcate

14 May 2011 i have filed online amendment in service tax to incorporate new service.....whether the papers are required to be submitted to service tax office? whether a new paper certificate will be issued or otherwise whether a amended certificate will be issued online?

15 May 2011 Hi,
in case of amendment in service tax registration also, paper documents are required to be submitted to the service tax department within 7 days of online application. The paper documents will be same as papers to be submitted at the time of fresh application.
Amended certificate will be issued by the department online.
