Amendmend in cenvat credit by budget 2014

23 July 2014 Kindly explain whether as per ammendmends in Rule 4(1) and Rule 4(7)of CCR 2004, Cenvat Credit on invoices issued by practising C.A. before 01st September 2014 shall be availed & utilised within 6 months?

23 July 2014 1)First of all,Note that time limit is only for ‘taking credit’.

2)There is no time limit for utilisation of Cenvat Credit. Once you ‘take’ Cenvat credit in your records, you can utilize it any time without any time limit.

You better have a look on all invoices before 01.09.2014 and take it to your cenvat records
