dear sir , my client was retired judge in surat,ahmedabad,gujarat court . he was retired from job since last year . know he was receiving some Domestic Help Allowance and medical allowances whether it is taxabale ? or whether it would be exempt ?

Any allowance paid to the High court judges u/s 22A(2) of the High Court Judges(Conditions of Service) Act,1954 is not chargeable to tax.
