can interest on housing loan be allowed in case of if it has taken from father or any relative or indivisual.?

04 February 2010 You can claim interest as long as you can prove that you have obtained a genuine loan. The interest what the assessee is claiming under house property has to be offered for tax in the hand of his father or any relative or individual
