Is it compulsory to show in yearly return to prove that this income is not earned through any unfair means? what are requirements to show agriculture income in yearly return filed ?

Is it compulsory to file an income tax return to prove that an income is earned through agricultural activities since agricultural income is exempt from income tax ? Is'nt it ?

"agricultural income tax" is a State owned area. With the record of State, one can easily prove the income to be agricultural. In addition to that Income Tax return MAY prove to be a good source to prove the same.
