07 February 2014 dear all. pls advice me. we are preparing special ARE-1 FORM with every advance license. some time we requires 5-7 ARE -1 for single shipment.. so pls suggest that can we club more advance licenses in single ARE-1? our range superintendent is asking for single ARE-1 FORM with more than one advance licenses..

Yes you can.There is no any such provision in the Central Excise Act,Customs Act or in the Foreign Trade Policy which provides how many AER-1 Forms should be in one Advance Licence or how many Advance Licence should be in one ARE-1.

Application for Removal of Excisable goods (ARE-1 form) is used for removal of the exisable goods from the place of removal ie. Factory gate or Depote without payment of applicable excise duty for Export and after export the exporter will have to submit the ARE- 1 Form duly endorsed by the Customs Authorities that in which shipping Bill how many goods as specified in the ARE-1 Form has been shipped for export.

The exporter has to produce the duly endorsed AER-1 Form as a proof of export along with the specified documents to the Central Excise Authorities establishing that the goods as mentioned in the perticular ARE-1 Form has been exported within SIX months from the date of removal from the place of removal for claiming duty exemption from payment of duty on the goods so exported. If any goods of the ARE-1 is not exported excise duty with interet will have to be paid.
So one has to be more carfull that all the goods of any numbers of ARE-1 have to be exported within the aforsaid Six months period and in the shipping Bill Advance Licence Number date and ARE Number ( which also have the relevant Advance Licence Number)must be mentioned along with the quantity of export and the total quantity of all the shipping bill if different shipping bills are filled in other word the total quantity mentioned in the all shipping bill for export against the various licence MUST not be higher than the quantity mentioned in the all ARE-1 Form against which export has been effected.
