Admission to CS Final

This query is : Resolved

21 May 2009 I am a law graduate. I did my CS foundation when studying law.
I chose Commerce as my subject for IAS exam. Since the syllabus was similar, I sat for CS Executive Programme and cleared both groups.
Now I want to apply for CS Professional Programme. Can somebody please answer these questions?

- Is training compulsory for me to give CS
professional course exam? I am not keen
because my primary focus is IAS exam.
- Can I avoid training by opting for
Licentiate CS?

Are there any other points that I should watch out for -additional training, computer course. etc?

Thanks in advance for helping me out

21 May 2009 Dear Mr.Vikram,

You can appear for Professional Programme exams without undergoing training. There is no compulsion that you should undergo all the training before appearing for Professional Programme exams except computer training(NIIT), even in this computer training if you possess the necessary skills you may directly appear for the Computer test. You may pass the exams opt for Licentiate CS and do the training when your time permits and become member of the Institute.
