adjustment of excess tds deposited

14 July 2011 can i adjust the excess amount of tds( for Q1) deposited in next quarter. kindly explain me in detail how can we adjust excess tds deposited in previous quarter to next quarter.

14 July 2011 What we do in these situations is that we fill the return by the excess deducted amount and give the deductee a certificate in FORM 16 of that excess amount only. By this way, the person from whose account we are deducting excess tax is getting extra credit so he doesnt disagree to that..
