Adjustment of Excess paid Tds

please clarify my doubt. Can we adjust previous year say FY 2008-09 excess paid Tds against current year 2009-10 tds dues, like adjustment of excess paid tds one quarter to another in a year.

20 July 2010 No it cannot be adjusted excess TDS of last year against the current ear. You have to claim refund in the last year.

IF you have deducted excess TDS on salry in One qUarter it can be adjusted against Second Quarter. In case of others it is not possible.
