I am working in a new established company. factory building is on rent basis. We have paid Rs.93510/- to MSEDCL for additional electricity load sanction from 60HP to 110 HP.Rs.30000/- for connection. + Rs.63360/- for Security Deposit & Rs.150/- for Processing. Tot Rs.93510/-.
What will be posting entry in tally for this transaction. tell me ledger & its Group.

Since the factory building is on rent, in my view you will need to expense the entire amount except for the security deposit of Rs 63,360/-, which I understand is refundable. You may debit expenses to MSEDCL connection charges A/c and deposit to " Security Deposit with MSEDCL"

You can book the security deposit amount of Rs.63,360/- in "Advance & Deposit paid to Govt., Authorities A/c" and remaining in electricity expenses A/c or Maintanance A/c
