27 December 2011 Is there any ready made accounting software for a medium sized (Turnover 1500 Cr) construction company having decentralised accounting sysytem with 15-20 projects all over the country ?

Please suggest.

29 December 2011 Yeah.. We are using the same Tally ERP version. But the tally software is only accounting the transactions. The ERP should actually control the operations and ensure that everything is in line with the procedure.

I heard that there is one accounting software called "SITE" developed by Maytas and most of the construction companies are using it.
