03 December 2009 case : The assessee has purchased a commercial vehicle in March 2009.As per notification he is entitled for accelarated depreciation @ 50%

Question : Is he entitled for normal depreciation @7.5% [used less than 180 days] along with acclerated depreciation 25%

03 December 2009 The rate of 50% has been substituted for ther rate 15%.

In the specified circumstances, 50% is the normal depreciation.

The additional depreciation(referred as normal depreciation in the query) is not available.
