04 November 2008 If you are paying more than 10 lacs to an indl it wil be 2.266%....if ur paying to a company it wil be 2.266%...otherwise it wil be 2.06%

04 November 2008 it may be 2.06% or 2.266% depending on the total amount paid during the year, but as a precautionery measure deduct the TDS @ 2.266%.
