About submitting form 107

18 October 2016 I'm in trouble like what to do when i get termination letter for articleship ? my situation is as under.
My articleship started on 07-09-2013 and it completed on 06-09-2016. During this time i have taken total 157 days of leave. And i'm not aware about that i exceed one day of leave as only 156 days are eligible. so i have submitted my 108 form by mentioning period of 3yrs that completed on 06-09-2016 but , on 26-09-2016 i received termination letter from institute and they told me to send 107 for that one excess leave. Now i want to know that am i asked to send only 107 form or again form 108 ? Is there any additional documents i have to submit ? i downloaded form 107 from our site. As i read the instructions given in form 107 i'm not able to get exactly what to do ? please guide me for this.

19 October 2016 Dear Neha, please send Form 107 along with Form 108 for completion. That will do it.

19 October 2016 Form 108 have to submit again ? as i already submitted. Which period i have to mention in both the form i mean in 108 and 107. Please tell me.


20 October 2016 Yes u must submit both 107 & 108 form to ICAI. What period u r asking about? U must fill ur Articles Tenure in 108 and detail of 1 extra leave in 107.

20 October 2016 Yes. You can file both forms at the same time.
Procedure will be complete only when your excess leave is made good. To give effect to this, you should file Form 107 for commencing and Form 108 for completion.
