there is a notice period of three months to your present principal. Period of industrial training is min 9 months and maximum 12 months of last year your articleship. So, if you having less than 9 months remaining, you cannot pursue industrial training. In my view, you fist search and talk to your mentor(i.e CA in industry) under whom you want to undertake training, only thereafter talk to your present principal and get transfer i.e. Form No. 109. For undertaking industrial training there is Form No. 104 (http://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=721&c_id=120) For full reading refer http://www.icai.org/new_post.html?post_id=784
