30 September 2012 A person registered under Construction of Commercial Complex and intends to avail exemption of 67% is he required to produce the purchase bills or books of accounts to the service tax deptt. before availing such exemption?

30 September 2012 You can avail of the abatement under notification 1/2006 without prior submission of the documents etc. But the department has the right to ask for the information they think fit to establish correctness of the amount etc.
