Please suggest us how to calculate the rebate of 80G.

13 February 2013 Mostly the deduction under section 80G is 50% of the amount donated.

The 50% of amount donated shall be deducted from his total taxable income.

But at the same time it also depends upon the amount of net income. A percent age of total net income is available for deduction u/s 80G
