25 March 2016 I want to know if Policy is in the name of Husband and as a salary employee wife is claiming deduction of LIC Premium. company refused to accept that LIC Receipts of paid premium and saying policy is not belongs to u thats why you can not claim that deduction. I need expert advice what is the proper reply to give to that company account department.

25 March 2016 yes , you can take benefit for payment made to Spouse by giving Payment Challan. and also you have to give declaration from Husband that he is not Claiming Same in his Tax return.
