80 c deduction

25 October 2013 husband and wife both are assessee, but lic premium of 2lakh is paid by husband account through chq of his, spouse n children. my question is can both assessee can claim 1lakh each u/s 80 c.....

Yes the wife can claim the deduction for Rs 1 Lakh.
