ACCRODING TO LANGUAGE OF 31(D) OF 3CD,( 'amount received otherwise than by a cheque or bank draft or use of electronic clearing system through a bank account' ) SHOULD WE HAVE TO DISCLOSE AN ASSET ACCEPTED IN FULL SETTLEMENT OF THE LOAN GIVEN? PLEASE GUIDE!

yes, you may do that. But a better course of action would be to show the same separately........any other matter which in the opinion of the tax auditor is important to be reported.
