15 September 2010 We are 100% EOU in Granite.We Registered in Service Tax .We pay service Tax .Can we take Refund of Service Tax.

15 September 2010 100%EOU units can avial credit of service tax paid on input services.

Procedure for claiming refund of service tax paid on input services has been specified in notification No. 5/2006-CE(NT) dated 14.03.2006

Hi Sir,

Service provided to an EOU is not exempt from service Tax. how evr, thy can avail CENVAT CREDIT of service Tax paid.
In the case of refund,procedures r specified in Notifiaction No. 5/2006 CE (NT) dt: 14-03-2006.

EOU can claim rebate under rule 5 of CENVAT credit rules..

17 September 2010 can you tell me any service provider does not charge service tax on there transportation bill. than who is responsible to pay service tax
