03 September 2009 Can a company deduct the tds if it does not have the TAN at the time of deduction though they got the tan later on

03 September 2009 Yes, it can. But it will have to obtain TAN before deposit of the TDS as TAN has to be mentioned at the time of deposit of TDS.
