28 May 2009 Whether 1% additonal VAT, which is applicable from 1st April 2008, is mandatory on all declared & undeclared goods or is there any exemption ?

30 May 2009 Declared goods are exempted from this levy,the tax free item in schedule 1, and gold etc are exemted from the same.
