11 April 2025 WHETHER TDS ON PROPERTY CAN BE PAID THROUGH CHEQUE? IF YES,THEN HOW TO GENERATE CHALLAN?

11 April 2025 Yes, TDS on property can be paid through cheque, but the payment process typically involves filing Form 26QB online.
Navigate to the "e-Payment of Taxes" section and select Form 26QB for TDS on property transactions. Enter details. After entering the details, generate Form 26QB. Select option for payment across Bank Counter. You will receive a unique acknowledgment number. (CIN).
If paying via cheque, take the generated challan to your bank and deposit the cheque for payment. Ensure the bank processes it within the stipulated time.

11 April 2025 For first owner having 50% share ... of 2.185 Crs.... ie, 1.0925 Crs. as purchase value
Stamp duty value requires some rectification; but it would be in similar manner.
Similarly half of the above value for 25%....
