Wrongly issue of cop

hii frnds can any1 guide me what should I do in present situation???
I am CA in job have applied for COP + membership on 16 August 2016 ( with DD of rs4000 in favour of Icai Kanpur)_and before Icai would receive my form2 I have called and mail them not to issue COP and consent is given to me by concerned authority in Icai Kanpur.
They said 2000rs will be adjusted for current year COP and will taken as advance for next year.But by mistake they have now send me both COP and membership certificate and not willing to accept their mistake.
pz guide me for the above..,..

Please visit your Decentralized Office in Kanpur and take up your issue personally with the concerned officials, as the details have to be changed in the database as well.

sir I am working in Nagpur, so I won't b able to visit Nagpur. so can u pz suggest me any other options.
