I was filling an ITR 1 for me for the Asst year 2016-17 and due to a typo error instead of filling the amount 13000, i filled an amount 43000 u/s 80C deduction. That has completely changed my refund/ tax. Unfortunately since it was the last date i didnt check the first page again and forgot to see it. The result is that i have uploaded a wrong ITR on the Income tax Website however i have not sent the ITR 5 yet. Now a CA is saying that there is no way out to it and i have to pay a huge amount to get it clarify. Would someone please tell me what should i do now. I am thinking to file a revised return u/s 139(5). But i am scared will ithave any negative impact on my return as this is my first return ( i have never filed an ITR before for me). Please help.

Agreed. Just revise the return. There is no need to spend huge amount to clarify it. It is clearly a clerical error. You should send ITRV of both the returns or e verify them. It will be simply fine.
