17 November 2010 whether reappointment of MD is mandatory after 5 years of his appointment in a private company which is not a subsidiary of public company... please explain wid provision to Com. law.

Appointment or reappointment of MD is not mandatory after 5 years of his appointment in a private company which is not a subsidiary of public company...

Reason being section 269 is not applicable to a private company which is not a subsidiary of public company.
