What will happen if the details of issued documents are not updated in GSTR-1?

23 May 2024 What will happen if the details of issued documents are not updated in GSTR-1? How can I update it later if there are any issues?

23 May 2024 In case if you have missed to upload any document details in GSTR 1, you can add it in next month or amend in next month.

if you dont upload the details in R1, your customers or buyers wont get ITC Credit as it wont be reflected in GSTR 2B

23 May 2024 Sir, I am only asking about the 'Issued Document Details' tile box. I have provided document details in the B2B section but have not provided document numbers 'from' and 'to' in the 'Document Issued' section.


23 May 2024 Add it in next GSTR 1, because even column is applicable to be filed and you have not filled , dept may take a view as all details are not filed the return is void and deemed not filed - this may be extreme step that Department mai take
