What will happen if i am not giving details of TDS in my ITR

This query is : Resolved

30 July 2009 What will happen if i am not giving details of TDS in my ITR- 2 ? I am asking for that because my TDS is deducted by 7 deductors and in ITR- 2 there are not sufficient space to fill it so I gave TDS details on a separate paper and attached with my ITR- 2 but the ITR receiving person at Income Tax office removed it from my ITR and taken my ITR without that TDS details paper. Wil it cause any problem for me in future ?

01 August 2011 According to instructions to ITR-2 provided by the CBDT, following points must be noted:

14. SCHEDULES
(n) Schedules-TDS1 and TDS2,-
(i) In these Schedules fill the details of tax deducted on the basis of TDS certificates( Form 16 or Form
No.16A) issued by the deductor(s).
(ii) Details of each certificate are to be filled separately in the rows. In case rows provided in these Schedules
are not sufficient, please attach a table in same format.
(iii) It may please be noted that the TDS certificates are not to be annexed with the Return Form.

With these instructions, it can be conclude that you have to attach a table in same format for the remaining entries with the ITR
