Querry: Dealer has taken D.G. set on rent basis for Electricity backup- paying monthly rental Rs. 5 Lakhs. Please let us know... 1) Is VAT applicable, if yes what rate?

few factors are there who decides it, if DG set is provide along with FUEL, VAT should be applicable, and if it is in renders scop, service tax sould be applicable.
