Can a Vehicle is purchased from and registered in Chandigarh be taken in the name of partnership firm registered in UP and can claim depreciation on the same..Kindly confirm

If asset purchased in firm name question not arise from which state vehicle is registered, it becomes firm assets you can claim Depreciation.
