Unique numbers in Excel sheet

There are lot of accounting code numbers mentioned in one coloumn of excel sheet.
I want to be sure that each one of them is unique and that there is no repetion. How to check it one go? is there any short cut to this?

Simple way is to make a pivot table out of it and finding count of the Account codes. If any code as 2 counts, that means that it is not unique.
Another way is to sort. After sorting put a formula in the adjacent cell checking whether, two cells bear same value or not.
One another way is to import into Access and defining account code field as index key. This one is the best but requires some knowledge of Access.
