04 October 2013 i started my articleship on 20th october 2012 last date being 31st october...now i took transfer on 30th august 2013 and signed the new form 103 on 20th september

so will my articleship end on 19th october 2015 or 9th nov 2015?

04 October 2013 Please specify the date of commencement as per new form 103. If it is 20th September then you have twenty days break in your articleship so your articleship shall end on 9th November 2015. In case not then provide your date of commencement as per new form 103 means at the new employer.

if my articleship ends in Nov...then i am not eligible for May 2015...right?

04 October 2013 Yes, you are not eligible for May 2015 attempt, the only remedy is making the date of commencement is before date.

Due to the 9 days you loose May 2015 attempt, Still you didn't submit form 103 to the ICAI and you have time to submit form 103 upto one month from the date of commencement, so request your employer to mention the date of commencement in the form 103 is from 10th September and immediately submit form 103 to ICAI this is only remedy to you. In case if the employer refuses for this request him allow you for this due to the exam attempt and if requires then offer him count such period as leaves(because of you have some eligible leaves you can cover it from such leaves) or offer him has work extra hours to recover such period etc... in any way request him to make the date of commencement is from 10th September.

your articleship completion is extended for the period of delay you made ..

it is extended 20 days from normal date of completion of articleship i.e,19th Oct 2015 to 09 november 2015 and hence due to this 9 days you cannot attempt for MAY2015 EXAMS but can apply for NOV 2015 ATTEMPT

04 October 2013 CANT I SHOW THAT MY THOSE 20 DAYS GAP BETWEEN TRANSFER AS A PART OF MY LEAVE?
I MEAN THAT CAN I STILL SHOW THAT MY ARTICLESHIP ENDS ON 19OCT2015 ?

IF YOU CAN MANAGE IN A WAY THAT YOUR ARTICLESHIP COMPLETION DATE IS ON OR BEFORE 30TH OCTOBER 2015 YOU CAN ATTEMPT FOR MAY 2015

FURTHER 1 DAY DELAY I.E, IF YOU ARTICLESHIP COMPLETED ON OR AFTER 01.11.2015,,YOU CANNOT GET THIS ATTEMPT AND YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR NOV 2015 ATTEMPT

the gap between my transfer ie 20 days can be shown as my leave period

05 October 2013 I already told in my reply regarding this same. If in your new form 103 date of commencement is 20th September and as per the form 109 date of termination is 30th August then ICAI shall consider such gap of 20 days as break in articleship period not as leave so it is not possible, that way i told you try to convey your new employer to make date of commencement at least from 10th September and offer him consider such 10 days(from 10-9 to 20-9)as leaves then only possible to consider the gap as leaves.

Note: The gap between the termination date(as per form 109) and the date of re-commencement of articleship(as per form 103 new) is considered as Break in articleship period(means doesn't considered as in articleship training period) not the leaves.

So date of re-commencement of articleship is most most important.
