TDS Wrong Deposit

15 October 2010 Is there any remedy if Co. has wrongly deposited T.D.S. for A.Y.11-12 as A.Y.10-11????

However, same has been shown properly in Quarterly Returns for A.Y.11-12.

pls guide....

15 October 2010 Yes there is remedy. Just write a leeter to your TDS assessing officer requesting him to make necessary correction in challan data along. Enclose a copy of challan along with the letter.
