10 March 2011 We have purchased the Software from a Non-resident, so whether to Deduct TDS or Not???
Whether the Software purchase comes under the limits of Professional Services as Technical Service ???
Plz help me out on this...

12 March 2011 Yes you should deduct TDS us 195 and not 194J(only applicable to residents but not Non residents)

The TDS should @ 10.5575% if the NR has PAN otherwise 20%.
