09 October 2009 Sir,
We are hiring one lorry for transport purpose.

Billings are made in Individual Name and he has no PAN.

As per the present(w.e.f.01.10.09) rule what is the rate of TDS to be deducted.

Wether 1% (for individual) is correct irrespective of the PAN.
kindly calrify me.

From April 2009 for deductees without PAB tds rate will be 20%
