We have made TDS payment of Rs.120000/- for the month of july 2010, on 07.08.2010 thru e-payment, but while making payment we have mentioned wrong TAN Number i.e.insted of our Aurangabad unit TAN no we put Mumbai office TAN.
pl reply that how to rectify the TAN NO or what is the solution to this matter.

WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR TDS ASSESSING OFFICER REQUESTING HIM TO CORRECT THE TAN NO AGAINST THE SAID PAYMENT WITH THE COPY OF CHALLAN MENTIONING THE FACTS AS STATED BY YOU.
