28 October 2013 We have to make payment to AMC contractors sometime we pay after deducting liquidation damages then on which amount tds will be deducted
a)on whole amount of bill.
b)on amount arrived at after deducting liquidation damages.

kindly refer specific circular etc.

Since it deduction which you are making & not a reduction in Invoice Value.
