TDS on Technical/Professional

09 March 2009 Dear sir,

We are paying Rs.36,000/- per annum(per month Rs.3000/-)as consultation fee. But he is not giving bill. Shall we have to pay TDS on above said amount.

Please solve my query as early as possible.

09 March 2009 if you wish to book such payment as expenditure in your books. yes deduct tds-- otherwise exp. will be disallowed
