10 August 2008 Is there any rule in Income tax that TDS on salaries should be deducted by the employer right from the beginning of F.Y i.e Apr 2008 ?

Or

Can it be deducted in any time during the finanial year

11 August 2008 TDS shall be deducted on monthly basis, if salary exceeds minimum non-taxable limit.
