Mr. D is employee getting Rs.240000pa As per TDS employer deduct tax upto 2nd Quat. Rs.4000+ during october Mr. D enter Age 65. Q. what amount of TDS OR Exemption given to Mr. D for became senior citizen.

after attaining the age of 65 no tax will be deducted by employer however deducted tax will be claimed by the assessee from income tax department after filing the return
