30 May 2014 hi , when TDs has to be deducted on retention amount payable to contractor ? is it on credit in the books or on the payment at end of the contract ,?

30 May 2014 i didnt understand what u want to ask

generally we deduct tds on retention, like if retention is 100000 and tds is 10000

we will deduct tds and pay the balance 90000 to the party

and 10000 to govt for tds


so what credit and payment u saying i didnt understnad
