01 March 2012 As mentioned by the CBDT that service tax is not included in the rent amount for deducting TDS of landlords.
pl advice if the same is applicable in the case of rent of plant & machinery also?

01 March 2012 Provision apply total Section.194-I, so as per CIRCULAR NO. 4/2008, DATED 28-4-2008. it applies rent of plant & machinery also.
