01 October 2009 We have taken office building on Rent from a Christian Institution whose income is exempted u/s 10 . Whether we need to deduct TDS while paying Rent to them.

01 October 2009 Yes. If rent payable is more than Rs. 1,20,000/-. You may ask for no deduction certificate from the institution.
